Frequently Asked Questions

Donations

By covering fees, you're adding an additional amount to your donation that will then cover the fee that is taken out of a donation so that we receive your intended donation amount.

Example:

A $50 donation can sometimes lead to a fee of $1.81. If you cover fees, we'll receive the entire intended donation amount. Otherwise, we'll only receive $48.19 of your donation ($50 - fees of $1.81).

Our donation forms offer the ability for you to make a donation in honor/memory of someone. Simply select the checkbox for "In Honor or Memory" on either the donation amount screen or the billing section.

Provide the following info and we'll add it to your donation:

  • Recipient/Honoree Name
  • From Name
  • In Honor/Memory Message
  • Email/Letter Acknowledgment (if you'd like one to be sent)

Thanks for your support! You can quickly & easily add a monthly maximum limit for your round-ups using the insructions below:

  1. Log in to your Donor Dashboard
  2. Select "Round-Ups" from the drop-down menu
  3. Click on "Settings"
  4. Drag & release the arrow scroll bar underneath "Monthly Cap"
  5. Select "Save Changes"
*Note: The lowest cap is $10

Currently, our platform offers monthly gifts only but we hope to add more options (quarterly, bi-annually, etc.) in the future.

In the meantime, if you'd like your monthly donation to withdraw on an alternate date, we recommend you cancel your current monthly gift and create a new monthly gift on the date you prefer

(ex: If you want your monthly gift withdrawn on the 15th of the month, start a new monthly gift on the 15th)

Part 1
  1. Go to your Donor Dashboard > Recurring page
  2. Find the Donation you'd like to edit
  3. Click on the trash can icon for that donation
  4. Check the box to confirm that you want to cancel this donation
  5. Click "Cancel Donation" and you're all done with this part
Part 2
  1. Go to our Donation Form
  2. Find the Donation you'd like to edit
  3. Set your new donation amount and finish the donation form
  4. Click "Donate" and you're all set

You can cancel/stop your current monthly gift(s) via the instructions below:

  1. Go to your Donor Dashboard > Recurring page
  2. Find the Donation you'd like to cancel section
  3. Click on the trash can icon for that donation
  4. Check the box to confirm that you want to cancel this donation
  5. Click "Cancel Donation" and you're all done

You can find your donation receipts on your Donor Dashboard

  1. Go to your Donor Dashboard > Donations page
  2. Find the donation you want a receipt for in the table
  3. Click on the "Receipt" button on the right side (you might need to scroll on mobile)
  4. If you'd like to Print your receipt, choose the "Print Receipt" button

Donor Account

We limit the ability to change your email address for your account because it is part of your login credentials.

To change your Email Address, please contact us via Email

You can easily update your Phone Number in your Donor Dashboard

  1. Go to your Donor Dashboard
  2. Scroll down to the Phone Number section
  3. Add your new phone number in the appropriate fields
  4. Click "Save Changes" and you're all done

You can easily update your Mailing Address in your Donor Dashboard

  1. Go to your Donor Dashboard
  2. Scroll down to the Mailing Address section
  3. Add your new mailing address in the appropriate fields
  4. Click "Save Changes" and you're all done

You can easily update your Profile Photo in your Donor Dashboard

  1. Click on Profile Menu in the top-right corner
  2. Select "Profile" from the dropdown menu
  3. Click on Add Photo and then upload a new photo
Supported image files include: .png, .jpg, .gif

Emails & Text Messages

The emails you receive from our organization regarding your donations are required transactional emails to provide you with information about your donation. These types of donation receipt emails are not able to be turned off.

If you are referring to turning off "Marketing Emails", please use unsubscribe links in those emails.

You can turn off your "Text Message Updates" in multiple ways. Here's how to turn them off:

  • In your Donor Dashboard, you have an option to turn messages OFF
  • Send a reply text with the word STOP
Be sure to ONLY send the single word "STOP" in the reply text message if using that method

Yes, you will receive an email receipt shortly after your donation is made. It will be sent to the email you provided during the donation and contain information about your donation.

The number that we use to provide text message updates is for "Texting Only" and is not able to receive phone calls. Please check our main website for more details on our contact information including our primary phone number.
